Daniel and Philips are 2 German guys i met in Germany, i think they have studied in Germany for at least 7 years. They really did lots of funitures already, attending many exhibitions now. Some of the idea are really cool^^

I still work in the workshop all the day, tired but begin to realize something more. I begin to realize that if u do not make it out, or do some experiment, touch it, and then design it, u will not feel the beauty of matierial, nature and shape. Even u just think out one thing, even it is not so perfect, just make it out using hands, it will totally different than just thinking. If u insist and lazy to just sit in front of computer all the day, design is now real design, it is kind of limit and ugly concept, of course u can call it business sometimes, because some one want u to do such kind of thing.
when i see the European design before, i have no idea or never think about the design process of the designers, but now i now, unless they work daily in the workshop, they will not produce such kind of design with quality, beautiful shape, matierial and feeling. Also, it is kind of easier to make such design work if u try to work in the workshop. I begin to fall in love with the original matierial thing a little, there is no high tech but only matierial and shape. Of course, it does not mean i have to do such kind of work for the whole life, but means when i met some works, i should start as quickly as possible, and then think more at the same time. another thing is, continue and pay the full attention to do one thing at one time, then there must be some good memory when as the time passes by.

And another interesting thing is, i find European and Asian people have totally different way to relax and become familiar with each other. Korean people like to eat baker meat and dreak wine around table until 8 in the evening and talk excited and then go to some karaok until midnight or early morning next day, but German people like to have some party, that means going into a house with beer in hands, dance in a very small space with lots of people, and talk just outside the door or anyplace that can stand like doorsides, of course, with beer and cigar. the similarity is during the night time, people become more relax and it is easier to make friends on that occasion. i think someone who is a big sociolized guy must be some one who can easily run here and there in such occasion.

i just find it is a little waste of time to wait for all every morning, that i even have no private time to look around and see the detail of this classic European old town, no mention stop and think. So, i wake up a little earlier today and went out just by myself, go around a supermaket and Architecture College house, everything to me is fresh here. It is a big supermarket, one floor is toy and games, all with there own brand, u can not imagine it in China. and i went to 2 fancy shop today, it is really cool, i mean, all the thing is just well designed and good quality and taste looking, even the paper, string and calender. It reminds me a book which i read in China, Experience Economy, suddenly i realized what is experience dynasty, it is a phase that people care all the thing around there life, everything is changeble, designed, good quality and fancy. There is still a very long way for Chinese people to go in this direction. in this kind of society, i think designers are really important, truely important.

Before my dairy, i want to wish Xiang a happy weekend and have fun with reading books, cooking^^
OK,I will continue my dairy. now i am in Bauhaus design library, it is a branch library, which means there is another main library totally new and u can order a little glass room inside just with student card for yourself or meeting. In this branch library, the books are all about art and design, it is so cool for me because it is the first time that i see so many design books at one time, there are many world famous design magazine i just heard before. i even want to stay here and watch books for the whole month!! i decide to come here as conciquent as i can.
and i went to a seminar yesterday, the reporting place is a big hall, both the wall and ceiling are made of wood, althong i can not understand what the teacher said about architecture history in German language, but i just sit there, with hundruds of yellow hair, enjoying the cool design place. i found it is a place full of art and European Gracefullness, it is definitely a special feeling for me.
There r posters and little cards everywhere, all these are about activities, from museum to musical event, yoga class to English corner, 30th party to students voting promotion. u can not there r so many activites in such a small town. Gradually i begin to understand why European people are so pround of where they live.they are busy but gorgerce everyday.
we stay in the factory for the whole morning, i find i can handle something in the factory now. still, my poor English, i should start some improvement plan!! in the afternoon, wei and me went to the town center and had some icecream with Fang, the Italian icecream shop is famous here
Ok, today later maybe i will go to a Party hold by Bauhaus students, it said there will be 200 people there. no one invite us, we just go with a German friend. My god, i hope that will beOK

The first thing is, they emphasize that u do not need to follow anyone, and professor likes to see something that new and realized by yourself. u should think by yourself, and there is no who follow who issue.
On one hand, that means they like to think by themselves and origional idea very much, they think that is princepal of designers and they hate Chinese people to make copy of someone else, which i think i should learn, because in nowadays working style, i will gradually forget i can innovate instead of just copying new idea abroad just because our clients never have any knowledge about it. but on the other hand, i think they r little over sensitive about what i am saying, because i said professor advice to do some composited matierial experiment and we would like to follow their original step, that they think our Chinese people like to follow. It is interesting to know what they think about us, and i think we should be more careful on these topic from now on.
The second thing is, they like to take action as quickly as possible, less talking, discussion and just do the experiment. As soon as they think out some idea, they like to realize it, not like us, sitting in front of computer and search for information whole night. Still I think sometimes they take action too quickly, even do not know the background knowlege. So, i should try to find a way between the 2 different working style.
When they take action, it is very efficiency. Just make everything move quickly, i even can not fit my step with them in the factory. I should try to follow their step, i think. not only for the efficiency, but also to make myself more fresh.
there r some common opinion and some different opinion between Bauhaus and Chinese University. Like some innovation method and also they find designer is only shape changer bothering. Different thing is they put more focus on matierial and working something out by themselves. But of course, all these opinion is different from Ying.
We have already have some European lifestyle experience. I will talk about it later with some pictures maybe.
